Last night, first lady Michelle Obama delivered an emotional speech at the DNC, making a case for President Barack Obama’s second term in office. Although her eloquence and church revival-esque speech had us on our feet, what we couldn’t stop gazing at was her gorgeous dress!
Always rockin’ affordable yet classy, chic and modern dresses, the first lady chose a raw silk, sleeveless, custom-made Tracy Reese (a Black girl who rocks!) dress for her speech last night. Gracing her feet were J.Crew pumps in “rhubarb.” Reese told the Wall Street Journal’s Speakeasy blog,
“I was moved to tears by Mrs. Obama’s amazing speech. I knew she was speaking from her heart and she touched mine. As always I couldn’t be more proud to have the opportunity to dress her.”
We couldn’t be more proud to have such a fashionable first lady!
