Well, that Clinton magic may have just persuaded millions of undecided voters to put  President Obama back in office. President Bill Clinton’s  speech touched on all the partisan policy issues that Obama couldn’t say, and answered the seemingly ubiquitous question; “Are we better off today?” Clinton’s charisma was spot on last night, let’s take a look at some of his best lines.

Here are some of his best lines from the night:

“I want to nominate a man who’s cool on the outside, but burns for America on the inside.”

“After last night, I want to nominate the man who had the sense to marry Michelle Obama.”

“We simply cannot afford to double down on trickle down.”

“I want to believe that ‘we’re all in this together’ is a far better philosophy than ‘you’re on your own.’”

“I know we’re coming back. For more than 200 years, through every crisis, we’ve always come out stronger than we went in… We have to re-elect President Obama.”

“I think the president’s plan is better than the Romney plan, because the Romney plan fails the first test of fiscal responsibility: The numbers don’t add up.”

[On the Repubs] “We left him a total mess, he hasn’t cleaned up fast enough, so fire him, and put us back in!”

[Channeling Ronald Reagan] “There they go again!”

“We are here to nominate a president — I’ve got one in mind.”

What was your favorite line from Clinton’s speech?
